Balance and Falls prevention programs have been proven to provide a positive effect on the reduction of falls risks, and ultimately in improving quality of life.
Developed and supervised by an exercise physiologist, every patient will have an initial assessment and an individually designed program.
Classes are suitable for individuals over the age of 70 and who have experienced a recent fall, or are feeling increasingly unsteady on their feet.
Classes are run by Erin Helmers.
Erin completed her Bachelor of Human Movement majoring in sport science at the University of Tasmania. Erin has worked as a clinical Exercise Physiologist at Belura sports and spinal clinic’s in Mornington and Hastings. During this time, Erin gained experience with patients with a range of chronic conditions. This lead to her role as a Health Consultant under a government health initiative. Erin has experience with a range of chronic conditions and in educating people on health and wellbeing.
