Our People / Massage Therapy
Massage therapy can treat common ailments such as low back pain as well improving overall wellness and health. Physicians and other healthcare providers are increasingly recommending massage therapy as a supplement to traditional health care.
During periods of stress, the effectiveness of the body's immune system is reduced. Research indicates massage can increase the immune system's cytotoxic capacity (the activity level of the body's natural "killer cells") and decrease the number of T-cells, which improves the body's immune functioning overall.
Brighton Spinal Group offers remedial massage for half hour, 45 minute and one hour appointments. Most private health insurers offer a rebate for remedial massage, please check with your health fund.
