Our clinic is open during Stage 4

Our clinic is open during Stage 4

Brighton Spine & Sports Clinic remains open during the stage four lockdown period.

As long as it is safe for our patients, staff and community we will be here to help you.

Allied Health services are considered essential and we have received confirmation that you do not need a GP referral to attend your appointment. However, we ask that you only attend face to face consultations if your injury can not be appropriately treated via Telehealth. Examples of whether your treatment is considered necessary:

  • The absence of treatment, or a six week delay in treatment, will cause significant deterioration of your functional independence
  • Absence of treatment will likely cause escalation in your care requirements (for example, medical treatment/review or admission to hospital/emergency department).

We are following and implementing all guidelines from the Department of Health and adhering to all public health advice in regards to having a safe and clean environment. Our dedicated team are providing initial and review consultations at the clinic but if you feel unable to leave your home, please get in touch.

Technology enables us to offer phone or video consultations so you feel safe and comfortable. These consultations may be claimable via medicare or private health (check with your health fund).

Please stay at home and get tested if you have respiratory symptoms or have been in contact with someone affected by COVID-19.

Our reception team are on hand to answer your questions on 9596 7211 and you can find out which practitioners can offer an appointment online or on the phone.
